I went to the State Fair today. This was its last year in Lincoln, where it's been hosted since 1901. Labor Day is traditionally the closing day of the Fair, this year was no exception. So, as I was wandering the grounds one last time, this sign on an information booth caught my eye.
The Fair moves to Grand Island next year, which is another hour or so further west. I'm not sure when or if I'll attend the fair again; a two-hour drive each way is a lot more restraining than a one-hour drive.
