Day 92 - Back with an Old Friend
Welcome to week 14, last day of the first quarter.
Today, I decided to pick up my DS and pop in an old favorite: Elite Beat Agents. This game took up all of my free time for about four months. I got pretty good at it in that time, but I suck now. Well, at least relatively suck. I forgot how much I love these songs -- many I've never heard elsewhere.
I love this game so much that it made me buy a DS Lite just so I could play longer without getting hand strain (because the old ones were surprisingly heavy in comparison, and poorly-shapen for one-handed holding). It also made me import its two Japanese cousins. I can't understand a word that's written out on the screen (unless it's in English) or any of the songs (except for one in the second one that's in English), but the gameplay is identical, so it doesn't matter. Awesome game(s), hopefully one day Nintendo will release an American sequel to it.
