Cross

The Cross had to be supported by only the bottom 12". It was to be slid into a hole in the stage and hold the actor without shaking or falling. It was also to appear "rustic like"

 

I created a cross of 2x6's lap jointed at the cross, and then applied the cedar with mitred edges to minimize their visibility
