I took this image at the Much Marcle Large Model Air Show, which was held over the 1st and 2nd September 2018 in Ledbury, Herefordshire. This event showcases enthusiasts of aero modelling, both building and flying of radio-controlled fixed wing model aircraft powered by internal combustion engines or increasingly by electric motors. Models flown at the show cover a very wide range of types, from the earliest days of flight right up to modern jets. The largest is around half full size and a is a superb spectacle against the rolling hills which surround Ledbury, and made even better by a weekend of warm summer sun.
