Canon 6D with Sony Wireless Microphone Receiver
Macro videography: making an HD video with a close-up lens. And high-quality audio. Today and tomorrow are rehearsal days for me, then on Saturday we shoot as my friend Scrib Messenger harvests his first honey from the bee hives he installed in 2014 www.flickr.com/photos/primeval/14279485414/in/photostream. Scrib will be wearing a clip-on microphone connected to a Sony wireless microphone transmitter. The receiver will not be on the camera as shown here, but somewhere out of the way, feeding the Sony PCM-D50 digital audio recorder. Scrib's audio commentary will be synchronized with the video in post-production.
