Majorelle Cacti
Cacti in the Majorelle Garden just outside Marrakesh. Majorelle was a watercolorist, but these gardens are his creative masterpiece. The garden has been open to the public since 1947. In 1980 the garden was owned by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Berge. After the death of Yves Saint Laurent in 2008, his ashes were scattered in the garden, where there is a commemorative memorial dedicated to him. There is a tiny bit of the museum painted in Majorelle Blue in this picture.
