UFO Shaped Lenticular Cloud and Volcanic Projectile, Rangipo Desert, Mount Ruapehu, New Zealand
While all the other clouds were racing by this amazing lenticular hovered right above us while my son and I waited for the sunset to cast warm firey light on this beast however cloudy skies out to the west prevented this from occurring. This is a still frame from a timelapse we were shooting of these cool clouds.
