My First PC Build - Antec Case
Well chuffed at finally putting this baby together! My first build - woo hoo! :D
My old pre-built Q660 with 4gb ram pc was running sluggish, so enough was enough and I spec'd out this upgrade...and boy does it fly now! CS5 loads in 5 secs and I have no trouble working with files over 1gb (while LR is running, multiple Chrome tabs open and music playing)!
Maybe in time, I will upgrade to 16gb ram, SSD system drive and all SATA III drives...but for now, this is plenty!
I think I'm getting addicted to this pc building malarky - think it brings out the inner geek in me! :P :D
P.S: Yes, I know cable management isn't the best! Next time, I will invest in a better case and a fully modular PSU to help route the cables better...heck, maybe I'll even add some fancy lights as well. ;)
