holy crap that is NOT A TOY
Unexpected discovery. Apparently Sachiko decided to add to her stuffed-animal collection.
Her expression is less-than-pleased because I was kind of yelling at the top of my lungs: HOLY CRAP WHAT THE HELL IS THAT WHAT ARE YOU DOING LEAVE IT ALONE
The current theory is something like this:
Sachiko, in yard: lalalala.
Bunny, in yard: lalala. OH NO DOG. *freezes*
Sachiko: Oh, look, it's a stuffed toy!
Bunny: *squeaks*
Sachiko: It squeaks like a stuffed toy! It is a stuffed toy!
So she picks it up, brings it inside, and deposits it with the rest of the stuffed toys. I'm sure to her, the logic was irrefutable. (And it probably says something, too, that Balto was crying -- which caught my attention -- because she wouldn't let him play with it. Which is probably a good thing.)
