Added a bed in the corner, with excess bricks awaiting their use in the steps that'll go up to the front door. Now there's Rudbeckia in the middle, and purple sage (not mealycup, not russian, but can't remember which) transplanted to around the black-eyed susans.
What's bizarre is that of the two blackfoot daisy plants (in bed just above the corner-bed), one survived the winter and one died & had to be replaced. Right next to each other!
No logic in gardening, I'm convinced.
