Temporary holding place for the CD shelves (with junk in foreground covered for painting). All these were in shelves along the eastern wall, and since that was being redone, the CDs needed new home.
They fit perfectly between hearth and mantle, even if the actual construction consists (currently) of pressboard and one-by-twos. It suffices for now, though at some point (obviously) will need to come up with more attractive solution.
