Actually, it was more like cutting on the entirely wrong line and realizing this put the floor an inch and a quarter shy of the wall, a half-inch outside the three-quarter inch minimum. Whoops. Might as well put up a false wall for sound baffling, then. Y'know, as long as the lizard is at it, anyway.
