Name those weeds.
[not my garden, post is temporary for illustration, credit unknown, found on net, sigh]
They bloom, they're all native, and they're not some squat stupid little sedum plant of only 6" tall with measly pathetic blossoms... whaddaya wanna bet that somewhere in this state, there's an HOA who's outlawed every single one of these as noxious not-ornamental-enough plants?
Someone needs to tell these faux-colonial tunnel-vision types that if they really want to insist on "it must be historically accurate" (especially in neighborhoods whose houses are younger than ME, damn it) that no one is allowed to raise tomatoes, either. They're poisonous, y'know. Member of the nightshade family, and not to mention, dangerous to your soul. Devil's apple, and all that. Now, ye HOA minions, go forth and be historical on THAT.
Twits.
That said, please to be inserting this picture into my garden, kthxbai.
