Castlerigg Stone Circle
We happened to visit this stone circle on the Autumn Equinox in 2016, and there were quite a number of people dancing through the stones, and laying their hands and foreheads against the stone to, as I was told, absorb the vibrations of the place on that special day. I wasn't able to sense any of these vibrations, but that may say more about me than anything else.
No matter... this is a very cool spot to visit and think of times past. It's just out in the middle of a field, with no tourist trappings about.
I only took a little point-and-shoot along on this trip, and I regret it... but I like the pics in spite of that.
