Bhagavathy Vellattam

Vellattam or Vellattu is an invocative ritual held prior to the actual Theyyam performance. Bhagavathy literally means Mother Goddess. Bhagavathy Theyyam is an embodiment of the primal feminine energy that manifests itself in the bodies of men.
