triangles & hexagons flagstone cp
I was asked for a cp of the green model. so here you are.
after folding the grid I cut the paper to shape along the red outline. this makes it possible to have a nice clean border in the end.
when I first explored this particular technique I took some pictures to remind myself how to fold the back of the big hexagons and how to connect the hexagon with neighbouring triangles. I have uploaded these pictures and made a little photo tutorial sketch. it is actually rather a tutorial for this model than the green one, but it might give you enough hints for the green version, too.
