Through a Window Dimly

Unusually autumnal changes have been gradual in Southern Alberta {not so looking North}, we're only partially away from bare trees, plenty of greenery remains. Fortunately I had my first weekend opportunity Sunday, spending the afternoon looking for signs South of MedHat.

Autumn for myself reads like a good news/bad news scenario, we know the eventuality yet the tour is clothed in amazing colour and solemn presence, a transition we can experience each day. It does feel similar to peering through a window dimly, a mosaic of all seasons….a vague and beautiful dream.

"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns." -- George Eliot
