Dilip Kumar Admitted to Lilavati Hospital
The legend of Bollywood, Actor Dilip Kumar was hospitalized at the Lilavati Hospital on Sunday 15 September after complaining of chest pain. After getting a call on Sunday evening at 8 pm from Dilip Kumar’s home, an ambulance from Lilavati Hospital was sent immediately and the Actor was brought into Lilavati Hospital where he was admitted to the ICU.
Once admitted, all treatment as per protocol was instituted. At present his condition is stable. In view of his advanced age and post bypass status, he needs close monitoring in the ICU. He is in the able hands of Dr Nitin Gokhale, Cardiologist.
Since Sunday, a huge crowd of people are stationed outside Lilavati Hospital curious about the Actor’s health. Fans, media and well-wishers of Dilip Kumar are praying for his speedy recovery.
Relatives and close friends including Bollywood stars have visited Dilip Kumar at the Lilavati Hospital.
The actor’s wife Saira Banu has been with him throughout. Doctors say Dilip Kumar health needs to be monitored closely for a few more days.
