When on a canoe tour in Spreewald I spent such an enchanting morning on the water that I exclaimed: Now only the frog king is lacking! Some time later , my companion shouted : "There it is , the frog!"
When i looked back over my shoulders I saw a small frog sitting on his leg. Both of them stared in unbelief at each other... And the frog jumped into the water !
This moment has inspired this painting here. Happy to be able to "catch" it here at least!
