poison in a waxy box
thanks to the good people at pomì, i've been puking and shitting high velocity liquids for the last day and a half. i made a pasta sauce sunday night with this filthy box of terror and a few onions, celery and mushrooms, along with the usual oil and herbs and spices. stomach rumblings began in the early morning, and later on in the afternoon, but i went to work anyway.
big mistake. thankfully nightjob is flexible and allows for people to vanish suddenly or to put their heads down on the desk and moan, sleep, and race to the toilet with some frequency.
after being up expelling fluids from every orifice much of the night, alternated with deep fevered sleep, i think the bulk of the poisons are gone. many thanks to dead robot for going to the store to buy me the usual cure: ginger ale and soda crackers.
