the acupuncture sessions i get these days last about 20-25 minutes. i get pinned, relax a little, and when the initial sensations start to fade i sit up and manipulate the needles. that one in my foot is awkward to reach, because bending to get to it makes the other needles all activate in ways that are not thoroughly pleasant.
