Make a tray for the corrugated iron which will then go in to an archival box.
Place iron on cardboard cut to size to allow ethafoam protective side supports. This has a dual use to both protect the iron and people who will be accessing it as the edges are dangerously sharp.
The foam is placed beside the edge of the iron and using a kebab stick, trace around the corrugations.
Using a craft knife, cut the corrugation shape out plus also 1/3 to 1/2 depth through the width of the foam so that the foam will sit over the iron and cover the sharp edge. See flic.kr/p/22eDCJ1 for a close up of this process.
