Digging through my old archives, I came across this photo. I remember the hen was so cute with the 2 kittens, she was clucking about taking care of them, and when she jumped off the flower pot, she crash landed to avoid landing ontop of the kittens.
She was really sweet with them, trying to show them how to dig for insects too and pushing them away from the oleander plant.
Hens are amazingly intelligent, not bird brained at all.
