Autumn Bark

Four shots of the Autumn bark of a snakebark maple growing in our garden. I planted this tree in 1986. It's still only about 15 feet tall, but it isn't in an entirely sheltered position and at around 1000 feet above sea level on the edge of the Pennines, so I think it's done quite well.
