I love home visits to patients on farms. A uniquely British institution, and a privilege to be able to see people in their own homes when they are unwell.
Farmers are a stoical lot, so when you get the call they are invariably unwell.
You never know what will meet you. On this occasion a lamb in a cardboard box in the porch.
