Winter run-off and fog at Snoqualmie

 

Water hits the floor below with force enough to vaporize and create little downdrafts of pressure gradients. Reminds me of the microscopic respiratory membrane of the lungs where alveoli and capillary walls meet at one-cell thickness. Carbon dioxide and oxygen diffuse across their own pressure gradients, whisking our life sustaining molecules through the rivers of the body.
