Call of the Wild
From what I've read and have heard, Lamar Valley is the place to come to view and photograph wildlife. Unfortunately, I saw no wolves or grizzlies, but did see many tracks around in this vast place. Plenty of bison, and a couple of pronghorns, but no signs of the bears. I did hear what I take to be the Druid wolfpack sounding off behind about a half the way up the surrounding hills and peaks. A hunter got attacked by a griz while trying to defend his elk kill on the Montana/Wyoming border! I actually spent a half hour out here all alone with no car or anything but my nikon, so I guess it is good there were no bears in range that morning. : )
