Low-Residency MFA in Visual Studies Thesis Oral Defense Presentations

Please join us in celebrating the first graduating class of the Low-Residency MFA in Visual Studies program. Rhonda Vanover, Jeanne Roderick, and Jill Sattler will each present an Oral Defense on Monday, August 4th and the opening reception of the Thesis Exhibition on Thursday, August 7th at 5pm.

Modeled after the successful MFA in Visual Studies Program, this 60-credit low-residency, mentor-based art program takes place during three consecutive Summer Intensives and two brief Winter Intensives. The Low-Residency MFA program is ideal for motivated students who can work independently, who desire a flexible structure and who are seeking the challenge and community of an immersive, rigorous program.
