The Horseshoe Falls is illuminated at night by colourful lights, while ice slowly cracks and flows down the Niagara River. Spray rises from the basin in as a billowing cloud. This 2001 picture was taken from the Canadian side of the Niagara River, in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
