20070925_MG_8922.jpg

After one of my two-day-old Interfits blew up [Jessops have offered to replace it], I continued, undeterred.

Shot with a Canon 400D, F14, 1/40 on a tripod with kit lens (18-55mm.)

Lighting:

Single EX150 flash head with softbox on full power; above camera-left.

I folded up the bottom edge of the softbox to give more direct reflection, and thus, pick out a little more skin texture.

Cropped to cinema aspect ratio (approximately) for extra spice.

Image unmodified, bar colour-correction with grey card (light-grey spot on a QPCard) in Adobe raw plugin via Bridge. [OK, OK: I healed a particularly choice zit on my nose in Photoshop, but yeah.]
