One of a Dozen Loads of Organic Matter I've Hauled This Week Alone
I have a use and a home for most any kind of organic matter around my 3 acres. These spruce boughs, with their prickly evergreen needles, will help mulch and cover the ground in an area that I'm reverting to forest, I'm also piling them around Pawpaw seedlings, which will appreciate the shade, and I'm hoping the pointy needles will discourage rabbits from browsing my sassafras seedlings. We'll see!
