I Love U- You know who you are?
How many times
have you cried all night?
walked the floors
back and forwards
sat shaking alone in the dark
wondering
wondering
why?
How?
what happened?
How you ended up here?
Alone?
Wondering?
Where the other one is?
Why your missing piece
is lost forever
How many days
have passed
in numbness
that you can't remember
what you did
said
where you went
what you were supposed to be doing
only to wake up the next day
to find out
you never did
what you planned or
hoped to do
How many years
have slipped by
with your love invading your dreams
though you try to fight it
ignore it
battle it out
let it go
go with it
cry it out
shake it
scream it out
How many years have gone by and it is still there
a little burning candle
lit
heating up a crumbling corner of your heart
the only part of you that still remains unfrozen
And I love walking past this artist's atelier- Roberto Barr (A Brazilian artist with a workshop on Rue Blaes in Brussels).
I would love one of his works on my wall but my teachers salary doesn't quite stretch to art work- one day perhaps- but I love going and staring at the atelier window and peering in to see what is new inside.
He seemed a very friendly artist and was kind enough to let me take a photo of this picture in the window..
