Knives of Winter

Hoarfrost on a twig.

I took this in my garden one frosty morning a while ago. Hoarfrost is relatively rare here (it's created by freezing fog overnight) and you need to get out before the sun gets up and the sharp bits melt.

[I've just reprocessed this in LR. Quite heavily cropped, inverted and colour temperature cooled. And a dark vignette which I always seem to use lol.]
