Bird - Salmon Crested Cockatoo - Max

The salmon-crested cockatoo also known as the Moluccan cockatoo, is a cockatoo endemic to the south Moluccas in eastern Indonesia. Named for its exceptionally long, backward-curving salmon-pink crest, this large cockatoo possesses a stunning white plumage, often tinged with soft pink throughout.

Cockatoos are affectionate and highly intelligent birds. Cockatoos are excellent companion birds and a loving bird which likes to cuddle. Cockatoos can be very demanding of attention, and if they are deprived of attention can become very noisy and destructive.

With a life span of over 30 years, these birds require a solid lifetime commitment if purchased because they often become quite attached to their owners.

Hope you enjoyed!
