A early Spring visit to Wrest Park on a beautiful Sunday afternoon with Jane. It was a very popular and busy place today and there was a long queue to get coffees and cakes etc . Luckily there was a free table outside but close by. Jane. remained there as I went for a quick amble, first to the Spring border with an amazing display of Iris etc. Then on to the Arboretum to wonder at the majesty of trees and note Mistletoe. I then ventured over the Chinese Bridge and back via the Mirror Lake and Long Water, finally back through the wild flower meadow. It took me a while to find Jane and I was tempted into the very interesting second hand book store.
