Phyllobius pomaceous Obsid P1750344

A morning at Flitwick Moor for the annual BNHS/BCN Bio-blitz on 1/6/2024. Sheila very kindly drove us. We arrived a little after 10am on a cloudy cool day when it looked unlikely to see many insects. Colin Carpenter along with Ann & Merv De Winter had already set up the shelter and tables. Despite the weather we did find quite a few insects sheltering on the big banks of nettles. During the morning numerous friendly dog walkers arrived but only Andrew Green came insect hunting and Karen very thoughtfully brought an offer of biscuits. In the absence of any interest we packed up and left a little after 1pm.
