A beautiful Spring Day at Stockgrove Country Park with Jane before Storm Nelson arrives later. Everywhere Blackthorn was in full bloom and there were numerous butterflies flying rapidly I could only identify two male Brimstones. First we had our regular cheese and tomato toasties and tea/coffee Jane. It was a very slow amble just round the lake. On the way round I chatted briefly with some of the Western Voles who were levelling the rutted path on the north side. At the wooden bridge I put down the last of the bird seed in my pocket and this attracted an odd collection of wild life. On the way back to the car we bumped into Carol Curd with a posh looking Canon with big lens. In the car park I got chatting to a lady with a beautiful Golden Retriever called "Zloty". All the morning I had trouble working the camera focus and a lot of my shots were severely out of focus/blurred.
