Hi John
Many apologies. Have just found the beetles you sent back in August 2022 in the back of the freezer! I think I asked Bex to put them in freezer until I returned from fieldwork and must have forgotten all about them. Dated 22/8/2022. There was a female Amara apricaria and a male Heterocerus fenestratus. Latter was dissected and ID confirmed from the aedeagi. The other "blob" was the remains (head and partial thorax) of a small Corixid. Sadly not enough to identify it :)
Apologies again for tardiness of reply
Andy
