Dear All
Thank you for all your hard work today. It was not as satisfying as clearing a single patch of dense scrub, but it has stopped it from developing into one, and will selfishly make my life in the tractor a lot easier, so for that I am very grateful!
Next weeks task will be with Tim at Maulden Heath. Meeting at the picnic site at 10.00.
Kind Regards
John
Dear Fellow Voles
What a fine day, Malcolm's Choco cakes, John's Donuts, Malcolm's welcoming bonfire, the sun shone nearly all day, the dogs and walkers were mostly friendly if a bit disobedient. No big cheese visits on site but we struggled on in our own fashion, each one moaning about their particular twinge or sniffle while John Boy & Deano seemed impervious to our dry wit. Not much to see in the way of wildlife but I think I may have found the local Raven plus some unusual fungi & lowlife etc.
The snaps are now up at the usual place. www.flickr.com/photos/pitzys_pyx/ and I hope there is something there for verybody.
Cheers JP
Thanks John,
So glad you've mended your snitching ways and didn't mention Malcolm chucking Malcolm's loppers onto Malcolm's fire otherwise I would have been in trouble.
