GST Eastern Voles meadow cutting & raking DENR 18th August 2015 TL051374
Hi Tim, Thanks for your thanks. Lovely raking for a morning – what a joy and Duck End did look better when I left anyway and would have been superb later on.
Garage doors – I have made contact with a company that would be happy to supply and will discuss timing and transport. I will email you Tim and let you have details.
See you at Ruxox and if you are going to be there Moff I’ll bring the strimmer for you to borrow. As ever, Sue

Subject: Thanks and Next Week's Task
Dear All,
Thank you to all those who came down to Duck End yesterday for the annual hay cut of the meadow. We had a good turn out and covered a lot of ground and even managed to cut some of Galler’s Pasture after lunch – not only is this a little bit of progress in getting this area under control but should make the scrub clearance task in this area in the winter a little easier.
On the subject of the Galler’s Pasture scrub clearance task, does anybody know where we could lay hold of an old metal garage door so that we might have a bonfire at Duck End?
Next week’s task is hay cutting at Ruxox with James; meet at Ruxox at 10am (map attached).
Regards,
Tim
Good evening All
I big thank you from me for the excellent work at DENR, particularly the meadow - looks really great. The best cut and rake we have ever had.
Kind regards
David (Withers) DENR vol warden
