Coot with young, Wrest Park moat 20/6/2015 P1360783
BIVG visit to Wrest Park 20/6/2015
At Wrest Park the weather was disappointing and became increasingly wet as the day went on but the fifteen participants all enjoyed it and several commented what a superb place it is. This visit also produced an excellent list with many interesting species among them Water Stick Insect (Ranatra linearis) and a beautiful micro-moth species Chrysoclista linneella which Ian Dawson brushed from a lime trunk. For this there are only four previous Beds records according to the latest pdf on the Beds Moth website.
