I have done over 3300 dives and was inducted in 1996 for pioneering work in the development of the liveaboard industry. I built the 56 ft Trimaran "Misty Law in 1969 and converted it into an 8 passenger liveaboard in 1973. At about the same time Paul Humann was starting up with "Cayman Diver" And I believe these were the only liveaboards operating in the Caribbean. Misty Law was way ahead of her time with private bathrooms for each two person cabin. In 1980, before the converted oil rig boats came on the scene with the Aggressor Fleet etc, I designed and built the truly revolutionary 95 ft aluminum Trimaran "Lammer Law". This vessel took 18 guests in nine huge staterooms with private bathrooms and is still in service today in the Galapagos, enjoying a large following. Lammer Law was so far ahead of it's time that it was more than ten years before any other liveaboard came close. In 1988, I designed and built the 105 ft Trimaran "Cuan Law", an even larger development of the "Lammer Law" and often rated the best liveaboard in the World. I'm 66 years old and still love to dive and I actively run my business with my wife Annie doing our level best to give our divers the time of their lives. I can't see myself slowing down for years!
