Dance of the Maidens
One ancient legend of the Aurora states that the aurora is a reflection of the souls of deceased maidens. Taken in Kitdalen, Norway. Canon 1Dx, Nikon 14-24 mm lens at 14 mm and f 2.8, 3.2 sec, ISO 6400. The numbers to the right are not correct. It was an incredible display that night. The sky went from relatively quiet to dancing with light in a matter of minutes. It was a very unusually colorful. The aurora was moving fast, and displays like this could be seen in every direction. The hard part was deciding which way to shoot. Hope you enjoy!
