Now for those friends who are going to North Sikkim in this summer or in Oct - Nov. See, as I told you in my previous upload ( Freedom is a Butterfly ) if you want to enjoy North Sikkim then keep the Car for at least 3 days with you . After you cross Chungthung ( Cpt. Francis Younghusband lived here in the Monastery for few days on his way to Tibet - when for the First time British Invaded Tibet) and before Lachung you will find a massive Water Falls , cascading down from 1000 ft above. Small tea shop selling disgusting tea at exorbitant price. From Lachung you start early morning ( by 7-7;30 ) and after you cross the first bridge get down from the car walk , explore, enjoy the bliss, the blue blue sky , Rhododendron, Primula and so many wild flowers. Stop at the Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary , walk the trail, enjoy the river.
After you reach Yumthang , have a cup of Tea, a plate of Magi but never ever drink Alcohol , not even Beer. Remember, you are above 13000 ft at this height body gets less Oxygen than required and hard drinks always need Oxygen in excess to burn. If you really want to enjoy Himalaya , please enjoy your Drinks in Gangtok or else you will be back to Gangtok in "Dead Chicken" condition.
