Sunrise at Simlipal
This is how Sun rises over the forest and hillocks of Mayurbhanj . This place is blessed with rich biodiversity and has the King’s storehouse of minerals. On one hand you have dense forest of tall trees ( Sal, Palash,Mahua,Jaam,Shishu…) , Tiger, Leopard, Elephant, Deer, host of Birds, beautiful rivers and streams on the other hand there is enormous deposit of Iron, Clay, Zerconite…. One thing I have forgotten to mention and that’s the most valuable resource of Mayurbhanj – The Santhals’, Murmus’,Oraos’- healthy , happy, gay and lucky kind of population. Some people call them “Tribal”; I oppose any kind of classification of human being.
I stayed somewhere very close to Simlipal forest , every morning at 5 ;0 I used to start my walk and enjoy the work of the Greatest Artist. It is not very comfortable to carry one SLR on your morning walk but where ever I am my Cell is always with me – so this photograph is from my Cell Phone .
