One of my favourite shots after a week in South Luangwa...
A smallish (1.20m/4 feet or so) Nile Croc encountered on the land during one of our evening drives. The croc decided to stay completely still when we stopped, and kept its eyes on us all the time.
The scene was backlit by our spotlight and I shot hand-held with the rather unwieldy 2.8/400 monster, roughly at eye level with this living fossile of an animal...
