The Sowe exits Longford Park and is plunged between new housing at the back of Windmill Road. It then disappears beneath the busy Alderman's Green Road at the junction with Hall Green Road, alongside which it flows until it makes a right angled turn across to Wood End then turns south to flow down between the housing crossing the Henley Road near the college. It continues through Purcell Road Meadow and meanders its way across to Wyken Croft Nature Park, finally turning south again to cross the Ansty Road at Clifford Bridge.
