Piet Devolder's Gallery and Studio is normally open daily from June 1st to September 15th between 11am -7pm.
Piet (Paul, Maurice) Devolder
Piet Devolder graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Antwerp, Belgium) in 1967.
He now works as a full-time artist, and has enjoyed success within the fields of painting, ceramics and mixed media sculptures. Expressionism and magic realism are key influences to his work.
Piet has experimented with various techniques. His sculptures combine a variety of materials such as concrete, wood, metal and ceramics, where his pictures were created with techniques such as airbrush, oil, paletknife and crayon. Piet has also completed a number of large mosaic projects.
An international artist, Piet has exhibited in Japan, Zaire, England, France, Belgium and the Netherlands.
