Grass seeds

I noticed these miscanthus seeds glowing in the sunlight. Close up you can see the tiny almost transparent hairs spouting from the base of the seed pods. These hairs allow the seeds to be carried and dispersed by the wind. They also give a lovely soft glow as they reflect the light.
