Blue Dasher Dragonfly on blackberries...
Good morning. Just a single posting on this typically quiet day here on flickr of a male Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis) dragonfly perched on a blackberry. It's not often you see or are able to photograph a dragonfly resting on something colorful so it was a real treat to capture this male on these not quite ripe wild blackberries growing along the pond across the street.
